( deemed the worst class in Chengelo) and I think for 1 term only the whole class managed to go without even the slightest detention!! We were so proud of making you so proud!! The we managed to make you cry about a week later!!! What were we like!!!

I think you'll be glad to know that most of us are pretty sensible now!! I am married, have been for 7 and half years and have one little boy who will be 2 next month.

WOW !!! It has been such a great experience to look thru all this and go back over the Chengelo days. I'm really sure u don't know me cos I left Chengelo in August 2003 in Form 3. This is such a great idea and all i can say is hands down for u rachel. i miss the place tooooooo much and it was a great priviledge to attend such a nice school. I learnt loads about myself. Mkushi farm block to be lit soon

THE long awaited multi-million kwacha electrification of the huge agriculture land in the Mkushi farming blocks programme is nearing completion with the pre-commissioning testing in progress.

Zesco public relations manager Angela Cifire disclosed the development in an interview in Lusaka noting that currently works are nearing completion for the reinforcement of Mkushi substation.

Ms Cifire said a second 2.5 MVA was being introduced to reinforce supply in the anticipation of the increased future demands in the farming areas.
Ms Cifire said there were three group scheme going on in the area, the mounting of the 22-kilometre, 11 kV overhead line to Chengelo via Moffat farm, the 17-Km 11 kV overhead line to Hi-Qwa Lime mine and underlying farmers.

On the 22 km OHL towards Chengelo school via Moffat farm had 14 clients included in the group scheme out of which two have paid their capital contribution fees of which pole erection was in progress and materials were being delivered to the project site.

While, the 17 km OHL to Hi-Qwa lime mine and underlying clients in Mkushi north was give due consideration for partial funding under the rural electrification fund under the Ministry of Energy and Water development.
Hi-Qwa lime has also paid their capital contribution of US$30,000 and the others to benefit from the line are Zambia National Service, DAAP a school, clinic and the farming community.
The overline has been completed and commissioning has been scheduled for this month.

Love the website, a lot of work put into it!!!!!.

I am in New York now studying Biology and working full time in an Emergency Room. Everything that happens here is pretty much what happens in the television show "ER", only difference here is that we don't exactly have any George Clooneys walking around in scrubs!!!
I love it out here though time seems to be huge factor, every thing happens so quickly that at times i feel like Christmas comes up every 3 months!

Anyway, I had to stop running track because i had a knee injury from my training and i ended up having surgery, looks like i may not be persuing a career in sports any more.

I am in touch with a few ex-chengelians and its lovely to hear that every one out there is doing so well!!

It was really great to see the Chengelo website and it brought back a lot of memories of my time there. I am now married, and we are expecting our first child together. We moved over to Canada in April 2001, and are really enjoying it here. I completed my pilot's license in Florida in September 2000, and am now pursuing my Commercial Pilot's License here in Canada.

I was only at Chengelo for a very short time. I don't know how many of you would even recognize my name, but I have fond memories of that school. Reading the website brought it all back.
